It basically boils down to a beautician rubbing a roller covered in little spikes all over your face. Think medieval mace. Before you ask, no, it didn’t hurt. She used numbing cream beforehand, the same stuff they use when tattooing your eyebrows. The little spikes pierce the top layer of skin (so there’s a little bleeding), the trauma of which causes collagen production to go into overdrive. Collagen is the stuff which makes our skin plump and youthful and unfortunately it’s levels deplete as we get older. The derma roller forces levels to step it up a bit.</span></span></p><p></p><p class="s4" style="margin-top: 0px; margin-bottom: 10px;"><span style="-webkit-text-size-adjust: auto; background-color: rgba(255, 255, 255, 0);"><span class="s3"><span class="bumpedFont15">I get 3 areas of botox (I’m only 28, but prevention is better than cure) so my forehead and eyes are pretty youthful. I am starting to get laughter lines ever so faintly so I’m really interested as to how this will affect them. A course of 3 treatments is recommended for the full effect and of course depends what you want to achieve. I don’t have a huge issue yet with my skin so for me the difference won’t be massive. Saying that, after only 2 weeks a few people have come up to be telling me how amazing my skin is looking so it must work!</span></span></span></p><p class="s4" style="margin-top: 0px; margin-bottom: 10px;"><span class="s3" style="-webkit-text-size-adjust: auto; font-family: 'Helvetica Neue Light', HelveticaNeue-Light, helvetica, arial, sans-serif;"><span class="bumpedFont15">I will definitely go back in 6 weeks (treatments MUST be 6 weeks apart to allow for the collagen production to run its course and settle down) as Clair told me that you can also used derma roller to stimulate collagen production in your hands. </span></span><span class="s3" style="-webkit-text-size-adjust: auto; font-family: 'Helvetica Neue Light', HelveticaNeue-Light, helvetica, arial, sans-serif;"><span class="bumpedFont15">I think the hands are a dead giveaway to a woman's age and after one too many summers battering the sunbathing, my hands could deffo do with a little youth injection.</span></span></p><p class="s4" style="margin-top: 0px; margin-bottom: 10px;"><span class="s3"><span class="bumpedFont15" style="-webkit-text-size-adjust: auto; background-color: rgba(255, 255, 255, 0);">Look out for a competition soon to win your own derma roller session worth £200 – currently on offer at CL Beauty @ Herberts for £140.</span></span></p><p class="s4" style="margin-top: 0px; margin-bottom: 10px;"><span class="s3"><span class="bumpedFont15" style="-webkit-text-size-adjust: auto; background-color: rgba(255, 255, 255, 0);"><br></span></span></p><p class="s4" style="margin-top: 0px; margin-bottom: 10px;"><span class="s3"><span class="bumpedFont15" style="-webkit-text-size-adjust: auto; background-color: rgba(255, 255, 255, 0);">XOXO</span></span></p><p class="s4" style="margin-top: 0px; margin-bottom: 10px;"><span class="s3"><span class="bumpedFont15" style="-webkit-text-size-adjust: auto; background-color: rgba(255, 255, 255, 0);"><br></span></span></p><p class="s4" style="margin-top: 0px; margin-bottom: 10px;"><span class="s3"><span class="bumpedFont15" style="-webkit-text-size-adjust: auto; background-color: rgba(255, 255, 255, 0);">Scouse Bird</span></span></p>@scousebirdprobshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10414184343013319903noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5224099818713069378.post-87184590227324857942013-11-04T11:21:00.001-08:002013-11-04T11:23:16.332-08:00Lola Loves Autumn/Winter 13<div dir="ltr" style="text-align: left;" trbidi="on">

<span style="font-family: Helvetica Neue, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">We are fortunate enough to be living in a city with some
amazing local dress designers. Scousers have a very distinctive look; we’re not
happy with London casual, we want glamour and we don’t want it subtle. These
local designers have pioneered the stand out ‘wow dresses’ that we all know and

One was the super light z-frame in hot pink an the other was the bright yellow constellation which they used in big brother this year. The z-frame is seriously seriously light, i used it for my hand luggage and the fact it's got virtually no weight and multi-directional wheels meant that strutting round the airport looking fab was dead easy cos it just behaves itself!! The constellation was also boss, it's dead sturdy and has an in built combination lock and different compartments inside so all your stuff doesn't move around an get creased in transit. The fact it's bright yellow means I spotted it a mile off on the luggage carousel as well. Plus the two of them together look dead cute an tropical! I'd consider gettin a full size z-frame next year, means an extra 2.5kg luggage allowance (more shoes).</span></div><div><span style="background-color: rgba(255, 255, 255, 0); -webkit-text-size-adjust: auto; "><br></span></div><div><a href="http://www.no1brands4you.co.uk/travel-bags-and-luggage/">http://www.no1brands4you.co.uk/travel-bags-and-luggage/</a></div><div><span style="background-color: rgba(255, 255, 255, 0); -webkit-text-size-adjust: auto; "><br></span></div><div><span style="-webkit-text-size-adjust: auto; background-color: rgba(255, 255, 255, 0);"><br></span></div><div><span style="-webkit-text-size-adjust: auto; background-color: rgba(255, 255, 255, 0);"><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj1TJu03qJq3wTTd9KcDMcp7hCK_nijoiBwefLCZfeAac56bDDTyjq19WNqTCv4KINd1grNAZDRePOs5F6Oq_pQI-5fB3b6MvvADLH07VWdA2kNl_ADXZ4-KDthfNKSDJIisIr90VtkJls/s640/blogger-image--1422146118.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj1TJu03qJq3wTTd9KcDMcp7hCK_nijoiBwefLCZfeAac56bDDTyjq19WNqTCv4KINd1grNAZDRePOs5F6Oq_pQI-5fB3b6MvvADLH07VWdA2kNl_ADXZ4-KDthfNKSDJIisIr90VtkJls/s640/blogger-image--1422146118.jpg"></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><br></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><br></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;">XOXO</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><br></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;">Scouse Bird</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><br></div><br></span></div>@scousebirdprobshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10414184343013319903noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5224099818713069378.post-56789579533969784742013-08-11T10:41:00.001-07:002013-08-11T10:41:15.414-07:00Token HomewaresI'm redecorating the bedroom and recently a local designer was brought to my attention. Some of these went infected and unfortunately left scars. I've tried everything to get rid of them; bio oil, scar gel, exfoliating, salicylic acid, you name it! The laser hair removal has prevented any new ingrown hairs forming but unfortunately they've left a scabby leg legacy which had blighted me now for nearly 3 years.<div><br></div><div>I was approached by a Skincerity distributor to try this brand new product claiming to be a miracle in a bottle. It works on eczema, scars, stretch marks, pores, wrinkles...basically any skin issue. I agreed to give it a try but maintained I would give an honest opinion after a reasonable amount of time trialling it.</div><div><br></div><div>You roll it on the area you want to improve, leave it overnight and then peel it off in the morning (great fun). It smells a bit like nail varnish remover.</div><div><br></div><div>These were the results after 6 days on each leg:</div><div><br></div><div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEibXrjFwy1WI9hfNBFnf7bePfP75C21UFbiPouVUtiuvifixzLpSriB0MvR-XNA25lQPcI8KKm_Thq_x_9wmfUw6mF5HBk1H0GBfKNsOPUWHAYh-vscfVG1nUal1BtonrsdLrWSXg-gwmE/s640/blogger-image--1381512988.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEibXrjFwy1WI9hfNBFnf7bePfP75C21UFbiPouVUtiuvifixzLpSriB0MvR-XNA25lQPcI8KKm_Thq_x_9wmfUw6mF5HBk1H0GBfKNsOPUWHAYh-vscfVG1nUal1BtonrsdLrWSXg-gwmE/s640/blogger-image--1381512988.jpg"></a></div><br></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><br></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;">As you can see its a big improvement. Origin rejuvenation spaWith the annual trip abroad fast approaching its time to talk bikini line. <span style="-webkit-text-size-adjust: auto; background-color: rgba(255, 255, 255, 0);">Getting a bikini wax is not something a girl looks forward to, unfortunately it’s a necessary evil unless you want to spend your entire hard-earned holiday lying on the beach fretting over whether or not you look like you’re smuggling spiders in your bikini. Bikini waxes can be a minefield of ingrown hairs without proper care and attention. They offer a bikini 'facial'. You go in a few days prior to the wax and they prepare the skin with masks and scrubs; it's only a very short treatment as the girl Michelle explained she didn't feel it was appropriate to be down there too long! I'm not going to lie, it does still hurt but beauty is pain. Getting your extensions tightened hurts, getting your eyebrows tattooed hurts, breaking in a new pair of Kurt Geigers hurts but we do it because the end result is worth it.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><br></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;">Once you start getting it done every 4-6 weeks it gradually begins to hurt less as the hairs grow back thinner. My top tip is don't go and get it done the week before you're due on, wait til the week after you've finished, that's when your pain receptors are least sensitive.</div><br></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;">The 'facial' treatments a few days before and after have definitely improved the amount of ingrown hairs. The exfoliation gets rid of the dead skin cells which cause the blockages to the follicles. A set would normally set you back around £70 but they were on offer on amazon for about £35; plus who cares, I wasn't buying.<div><br></div><div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiwL96dDNo5eytr36qxF7JDOO8yCNKOEf6Jmm3vQA8Y799p9DPqJtB2A9FbZNF7Qg-7Vou_Kh1Gg_KSfv_m0I3ZI3D5Vbmvwy9k9Yz89oT-nusNB-wYveoemOLC7KnyRlYe0GtXQqb3XTI/s640/blogger-image-231143291.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiwL96dDNo5eytr36qxF7JDOO8yCNKOEf6Jmm3vQA8Y799p9DPqJtB2A9FbZNF7Qg-7Vou_Kh1Gg_KSfv_m0I3ZI3D5Vbmvwy9k9Yz89oT-nusNB-wYveoemOLC7KnyRlYe0GtXQqb3XTI/s640/blogger-image-231143291.jpg"></a></div><br><div><br></div><div>They are the best heated rollers I've ever tried. They heat up in about 2 minutes. Both the roller itself and the clip which secures it are heated so the curl lasts much longer. I normally get up, lash them in first thing in the morning and let them cool while I'm getting ready and then voila, instant curly blow.</div><div><br></div><div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjIGOw_7L7tD05ttxQOSJ2u_kYnyw2eOoyUgnGV71JsX_jwNsXnTRRU0ES1GCsMkfhrj0nwkn1zVrjt-WIsObI1b5i8y9ABSg5caxgBqXUjl0LAQFQYjCOFv1qBwcpEkiVNAL1NWg-sjc0/s640/blogger-image--1740497018.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjIGOw_7L7tD05ttxQOSJ2u_kYnyw2eOoyUgnGV71JsX_jwNsXnTRRU0ES1GCsMkfhrj0nwkn1zVrjt-WIsObI1b5i8y9ABSg5caxgBqXUjl0LAQFQYjCOFv1qBwcpEkiVNAL1NWg-sjc0/s640/blogger-image--1740497018.jpg"></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><br></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;">That's actually me. Excuse the ham arm it was pre gym.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><br></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;">I decided to try their jumbo waver as I have a little bit of an obsession with "Game of Thrones" hair. There's a heat dial to control the heat but I just think low heats are for meffs so I turned it up to 11 (This is Spinal Tap reference for the film geeks). Considering my hair is 22" (it's all my own, I bought it) it only took about 20-30 mins to style my whole head. Unfortunately as I'm single now I couldn't get an immediate picture in good light of the results so here's one in poor light which my drunk mate took much later on. Yonanas what's my name?If you're a fan of ice cream but not a fan of being fat then it's your lucky day!<div><br></div><div>Yonanas is a miracle gadget which makes fit ice cream from only one ingredient. Frozen fruit. You literally pop frozen fruit in the chute (leave it to thaw for about 10 mins for best results) and out pops soft scoop ice cream.</div><div><br></div><div>A quick google reveals that the recipes are endless. Ain't nobody got time fo dat. However now that I'm officially on the wrong side of 25 (and have been for a couple of years) I thought its high time I get my act together. I've been getting better and better, using my home & bargain baby wipes and my loreal moisturiser but with my recent birthday I thought its high time I graduate to the big leagues. I headed to John Lewis beauty department, I'm so at home with the make up but skincare? So alien and intimidating. I finally stumbled upon the Kiehls stand, it looked so organic and home grown and a lovely lady called Natalie was very helpful.<div>She asked me about my skin issues (none really, I'm a lucky bitch like that) and recommended a few products. Apparently Cameron Diaz, J-Lo and the almighty Oprah swear by Kiehls. This was sounding good. I stocked up on a few products and here's what I think of them having trialled them for a few weeks.</div><div><br></div><div>The midnight rescue oil is amazing. You put a few drops on before bed and your skin feels glorious when you wake up. Recommended.</div><div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhkRkGAvXt1BZ6LepfvIp7yLDpc-X4hdEF0Revq6Fhdpd6FLZrA0y2eYh2xaRqqNIK7VGlHhyphenhyphenfOtdh6iChXg7Knsopzd70gXpodoSE2pg1KQP9C9pobRHZjUrHRVIr1InobzhtYIOsYSBo/s640/blogger-image-218332564.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhkRkGAvXt1BZ6LepfvIp7yLDpc-X4hdEF0Revq6Fhdpd6FLZrA0y2eYh2xaRqqNIK7VGlHhyphenhyphenfOtdh6iChXg7Knsopzd70gXpodoSE2pg1KQP9C9pobRHZjUrHRVIr1InobzhtYIOsYSBo/s640/blogger-image-218332564.jpg"></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><br></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;">The acai berry cleanser is the one Cameron Diaz swears by for her acne. I wasn't a fan just because I can't really get on board with foam cleansers. I prefer creams/milks (try the cleanser made by @scousehoney on twitter it's fab). I gave it to my boyfriend though as he has occasional breakouts and he loves it.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh8WFkaCi9H79CHYPBCnXOZSlLrvBt5xo2X5guidV9T_Hm-wjJDABdEbk0bHyWCVOqZ0uLX1cQEKdBWGDugq1W9RHpGMCHkKGuUMzbQeAUWYWzf6vTWbx-TyC1e_ndeguYkSlLDXrwzdyw/s640/blogger-image--2131770648.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh8WFkaCi9H79CHYPBCnXOZSlLrvBt5xo2X5guidV9T_Hm-wjJDABdEbk0bHyWCVOqZ0uLX1cQEKdBWGDugq1W9RHpGMCHkKGuUMzbQeAUWYWzf6vTWbx-TyC1e_ndeguYkSlLDXrwzdyw/s640/blogger-image--2131770648.jpg"></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><br></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;">The tinted moisturiser which is also supposed to correct skin tone I haven't really given a fair go to yet. I use it once a week in the bath and it feels like I'm having a spa treatment. It goes hard. I've noticed a real difference when applying make up.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><br></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjrO-bJfGwWB7b53ZcrAcInK3IfBuapVO2Y6z16Gm7CYjXhgD8Sk_1-80WoztXggM-ZAsEcJRLdwTcXHBO4jUZIxf6I3QUONrEljRr8uyVEbzD6CiKaGXps3m0Wkvs3YhyqfiZU5cw0LGA/s640/blogger-image-1715543636.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjrO-bJfGwWB7b53ZcrAcInK3IfBuapVO2Y6z16Gm7CYjXhgD8Sk_1-80WoztXggM-ZAsEcJRLdwTcXHBO4jUZIxf6I3QUONrEljRr8uyVEbzD6CiKaGXps3m0Wkvs3YhyqfiZU5cw0LGA/s640/blogger-image-1715543636.jpg"></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><br></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;">Finally last but not least the rare flower moisturiser. I use the oil at night and this in the morning. It smells divine. It's not watery or dead thick like Nivea (which although is my mums favourite, to me it feels like I've lashed a load of oily sudocrem on my face), it's got a midway consistency which is perfect for me. It's the ideal skin hydration before applying your face.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><br></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg-0txYTqCbMeHn7GneEDV4DqAHs-yuIpG-SSKg70lERKTu3Zbh8j1j1r75vLxoGFeA1SBVqcokWwM3mJLwv6oRfJuiQQIx32Ci_Jgb4hZU9VYMkf75RU4WZOEi1HdUwTKORsz8S9-ISEk/s640/blogger-image--679218261.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg-0txYTqCbMeHn7GneEDV4DqAHs-yuIpG-SSKg70lERKTu3Zbh8j1j1r75vLxoGFeA1SBVqcokWwM3mJLwv6oRfJuiQQIx32Ci_Jgb4hZU9VYMkf75RU4WZOEi1HdUwTKORsz8S9-ISEk/s640/blogger-image--679218261.jpg"></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><br></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;">I also got an eye brightening cream and a fine line filler but I've not really used them yet, still taking baby steps on the skincare routine. Deena said to expect maybe 1 strand to fall out each week but not a single one fell out. For the first week you're not allowed to put your hair up (to prevent traction apparently....whatever that is), I waited until week 2 to tie it up in a bun and ill be honest, it itched like hell on earth, I wanted to rip my head off. All the little ends of the hair were prickling against my scalp and irritating it. I waited another week before tying my hair in a high style and I was absolutely fine. font-size: 18px; font-weight: bold; line-height: 24px; text-align: -webkit-auto; -webkit-tap-highlight-color: rgba(26, 26, 26, 0.296875); -webkit-composition-fill-color: rgba(130, 98, 83, 0.0976563); -webkit-composition-frame-color: rgba(191, 107, 82, 0.496094); -webkit-text-size-adjust: auto; ">A good set of eyebrows are really one of the defining features of a Scouse bird. The difference a well defined, manicured brow can make to your face is genuinely unbelievable.</div><div style="font-family: Noteworthy; font-size: 18px; font-weight: bold; line-height: 24px; text-align: -webkit-auto; -webkit-tap-highlight-color: rgba(26, 26, 26, 0.296875); -webkit-composition-fill-color: rgba(130, 98, 83, 0.0976563); -webkit-composition-frame-color: rgba(191, 107, 82, 0.496094); -webkit-text-size-adjust: auto; ">A lot of Scouse bird problems stem from eyebrows in general, are they wonky? Have they smudged? Have they sweated off? Are they in general a fuckin show? So naturally I'd been considering a more permanent solution; tattooed brows. It's not a decision I entered into lightly, after all if they get TATTOOED on wonky or a show you're stuck with them for about 5 years. No one needs that hassle.</div><div style="font-family: Noteworthy; font-size: 18px; font-weight: bold; line-height: 24px; text-align: -webkit-auto; -webkit-tap-highlight-color: rgba(26, 26, 26, 0.296875); -webkit-composition-fill-color: rgba(130, 98, 83, 0.0976563); -webkit-composition-frame-color: rgba(191, 107, 82, 0.496094); -webkit-text-size-adjust: auto; ">I'd looked through pictures of several different salons, had HD brows done a couple of times to experiment with what I liked & didn't like and ummed and ahhhed for a long time about whether I wanted feathered or block effect.</div><div style="font-family: Noteworthy; font-size: 18px; font-weight: bold; line-height: 24px; text-align: -webkit-auto; -webkit-tap-highlight-color: rgba(26, 26, 26, 0.296875); -webkit-composition-fill-color: rgba(130, 98, 83, 0.0976563); -webkit-composition-frame-color: rgba(191, 107, 82, 0.496094); -webkit-text-size-adjust: auto; ">The end result was that although feathered brows look extremely natural, on a daily basis I colour block my brows in anyway so really, would I be any better off getting feathered ones than I am now? No.</div><div style="font-family: Noteworthy; font-size: 18px; font-weight: bold; line-height: 24px; text-align: -webkit-auto; -webkit-tap-highlight-color: rgba(26, 26, 26, 0.296875); -webkit-composition-fill-color: rgba(130, 98, 83, 0.0976563); -webkit-composition-frame-color: rgba(191, 107, 82, 0.496094); -webkit-text-size-adjust: auto; ">Researching different salons and looking at examples of their work I finally narrowed it down to only 2 places I would even consider. I ended up going with Blushious (now renamed Malinki). I'd spoken to Hayley a few times after going for the shrinking violet body wraps so we'd had a few chats about shape and colour until I was happy. Sophie who'd been doing my HD brows now works there too and her seal of approval went a long way!</div><div style="font-family: Noteworthy; font-size: 18px; font-weight: bold; line-height: 24px; text-align: -webkit-auto; -webkit-tap-highlight-color: rgba(26, 26, 26, 0.296875); -webkit-composition-fill-color: rgba(130, 98, 83, 0.0976563); -webkit-composition-frame-color: rgba(191, 107, 82, 0.496094); -webkit-text-size-adjust: auto; ">The day finally arrived (after a successful behind the ear patch test) and Hayley spent a good 30 mins measuring and pencilling on my would be new brow shape to ensure I was happy. Turns out my brows were naturally wonky (who knew) so she even raised my right brow slightly (I've got so much more room for smokey eyes now!). I was alarmed at first by how big the outline looked but she explained she'd be tattooing within these outlines not actually on them - PHEW - panic over! She administered numbing cream and let it soak in and work for about half an hour. Then it was crunch time. </div><div style="font-family: Noteworthy; font-size: 18px; font-weight: bold; line-height: 24px; text-align: -webkit-auto; -webkit-tap-highlight-color: rgba(26, 26, 26, 0.296875); -webkit-composition-fill-color: rgba(130, 98, 83, 0.0976563); -webkit-composition-frame-color: rgba(191, 107, 82, 0.496094); -webkit-text-size-adjust: auto; ">The first pass where the skin was first broken is the worst bit, after that the numbing cream can get deeper down. The right side hurt more than the left (she said its something to do with pain receptors in the brain) but neither side was horrific and after the first pass I couldn't really feel anything anyway. She used circular motions with the needle to give the brows more of a powdered effect so they wouldn't be as severe as fully blocked brows. The actual tattooing took about 40 mins.</div><div style="font-family: Noteworthy; font-size: 18px; font-weight: bold; line-height: 24px; text-align: -webkit-auto; -webkit-tap-highlight-color: rgba(26, 26, 26, 0.296875); -webkit-composition-fill-color: rgba(130, 98, 83, 0.0976563); -webkit-composition-frame-color: rgba(191, 107, 82, 0.496094); -webkit-text-size-adjust: auto; ">Afterwards she gave me leaflets to take away and fully explained all the aftercare then booked me in for a 6 week top up/check.</div><div style="font-family: Noteworthy; font-size: 18px; font-weight: bold; line-height: 24px; text-align: -webkit-auto; -webkit-tap-highlight-color: rgba(26, 26, 26, 0.296875); -webkit-composition-fill-color: rgba(130, 98, 83, 0.0976563); -webkit-composition-frame-color: rgba(191, 107, 82, 0.496094); -webkit-text-size-adjust: auto; ">They looked AMAZING. For about 24-48hrs after I did feel like I had really bad sunburn on my eyebrows like but after that I was fine. It's taken about a week for them to heal properly. Honestly I'm so happy I made the decision to have them done, they are amazing. Even going to the gym make up free isn't traumatic anymore, and waking up in the morning sans make up doesn't knock me as violently ill when I catch a glimpse of my reflection. They are fantastic. My mum and my bezzie mate are already signed up to get theirs done after seeing mine.</div><div style="font-family: Noteworthy; font-size: 18px; font-weight: bold; line-height: 24px; text-align: -webkit-auto; -webkit-tap-highlight-color: rgba(26, 26, 26, 0.296875); -webkit-composition-fill-color: rgba(130, 98, 83, 0.0976563); -webkit-composition-frame-color: rgba(191, 107, 82, 0.496094); -webkit-text-size-adjust: auto; "><br></div><div style="font-family: Noteworthy; font-size: 18px; font-weight: bold; line-height: 24px; text-align: -webkit-auto; -webkit-tap-highlight-color: rgba(26, 26, 26, 0.296875); -webkit-composition-fill-color: rgba(130, 98, 83, 0.0976563); -webkit-composition-frame-color: rgba(191, 107, 82, 0.496094); -webkit-text-size-adjust: auto; ">She's got an offer on til the end of June to do the Wow brows for £199 after that they go back up to £350 xx<div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjYyPZqe2rhnlU18F-uvzikxiT0-qPHevX1TMOuCsMoFvt0l2C6tKKEeFtWIffgD4hl2XTJQj3pjHo-L5rsN2mLTt8xhq1MC8YGrUvYbV_X47Ual2uxouH50ByNBHtcWYG5Iha98p4sjLU/s640/blogger-image--550511337.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjYyPZqe2rhnlU18F-uvzikxiT0-qPHevX1TMOuCsMoFvt0l2C6tKKEeFtWIffgD4hl2XTJQj3pjHo-L5rsN2mLTt8xhq1MC8YGrUvYbV_X47Ual2uxouH50ByNBHtcWYG5Iha98p4sjLU/s640/blogger-image--550511337.jpg"></a></div></div></div>
