RIVER ISLAND COMPETITION!
Like most Scouse girls I've taken the closure of River Island pretty hard. There is finally light at the end of the tunnel with the re-opening date finally being confirmed for 15th June. By the way has anyone walked past it in town yet?? It looks absolutely massive! I. can't. wait.
In order to go some way to apologise for the severe RI drought in recent months the lovely people at River Island contacted me and asked if I'd like to run a competition for one lucky person to win a £200 shopping spree in store. Well! It's the bloody least you can do! Don't you know the pain of looking for the perfect dress and your favourite shop has just got off??
So basically in order to be in with a chance of winning this fab prize you have to tweet about why you love River Island and you MUST use the hashtag #RILiverpool (That's how they'll find your tweets). They'll pick a winner and I will announce it on Wednesday 12th June at 9pm. Competition opens as soon as this blog goes up (so basically now). [If you're on Facebook just share and comment on the picture I posted with why you love River Island in less than 20 words]
For everyone else who isn't the lucky bitch who wins the prize, River Island are still putting on some treats!
• ‘LIVERPOOL CHURCH TREAT’- 2 branded ice cream trikes will be close by to the store distributing complimentary ice cream, along with a voucher to be redeemed in store. The voucher will entitle customers to a free gift with purchase.
• ‘RETREAT’- Hair/grooming pop up with Electric Hair, with complimentary treatments from brands including Barry M & Eylure. Eylure will be offering the first 50 customers free eyelashes. (Saturday 10-6pm).
